I’m Houssem Eddine Jlidi — filmmaker, editor, and storyteller. My work moves between fiction and documentary, always driven by a search for truth, silence, and meaning. Whether I’m directing or editing, I focus on the emotional core of a story, using rhythm, image, and sound to bring it to life. My Academic path
I began my academic journey in cinema at the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts in Manouba, Tunisia, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in film editing in 2021. Eager to deepen my practice and artistic vision, I pursued a professional master’s degree in screenwriting and film directing at the Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts in Gammarth, graduating in 2024. Throughout my studies, I developed a strong interest in poetic cinema and the exploration of philosophical and existential themes through image and sound.
My Project
I’m always working on something — whether it’s helping others bring their vision to life or diving into personal projects where I can experiment, reflect, and push my ideas further. Some projects are about precision and results, others are about wandering through a concept until something real emerges. Either way, I’m always searching for meaning through images, rhythm, and emotion.

I’ve grown a lot in this field, but I wouldn’t be where I am without the people who believed in me, challenged me, and inspired me along the way. That’s why I value collaboration so deeply — I love connecting with others who share the same drive to create, reflect, and tell meaningful stories. For me, it’s not just about skills — it’s about using what I’ve learned to make something that matters.

I’ve worked across formats — from fiction and documentary to TV shows and digital content — always adapting my tools to serve the story. Whether I’m building a quiet cinematic moment or a fast-paced television sequence, I bring the same care, precision, and creative energy to every frame.
